Growing up, my dad's jokes were always met with sighs, groans and head shaking. But that's the thing about dad jokes, they were never really about being funny. It was about connection. The groan was the point. The head shaking is exactly what he was going for. Years later, I smile at these memories. This collection was inspired from that place. The intersection of silly and sincere.
